About
Mum & You baby wipes are a brilliant company who have a genuine care for the environment and how their products affect the world.
The wipes are made using naturally derived fibers that are soft to the touch, yet strong when it comes to important jobs such as changing the baby’s nappy. The wipes are also suitable for hand and face clean ups as well. The wipes are made from 99.5% natural ingredients and they are PEFC certified sustainable fibres from sustainable forestry.
The company itself is also Leaping Bunny approved meaning that they are certified to not be tested on animals and all of this makes the product certified vegan.
Design
The product comes in a range of designs which were updated recently and include an Orange pack with Gus the Bus, Yellow pack with Belle the Cow, Green pack with Skye the Kite, Purple pack with Puff the Cloud, Turquoise pack with Yip the Dog and Pink pack with Baggy the Elephant on and each pack of wipes contain 56 wipes per pack.
All the designs are nice and bright colours which is great for children’s visual stimulation.
Pros
The best parts about mum & you baby wipes are these wipes are that they are 100% biodegradable, meaning that they can be put into the compost bin if you wanted to put them there and they will break down just like anything else biodegradable without leaving anything behind due to them being 0% plastic.
The packaging for this product is also 100% recyclable so the whole product can be reused somewhere along the line. The wipes are also 99.4% water meaning they can be used from birth in replacement of cotton wool and warm water. They are also hypoallergenic and demagogically tested.
Cons
If you were hoping for a perfect product then we are sorry to find you sadly mistaken. The wipes have been reported to have given some people an allergic reaction, sometimes from the whole family. This has led us to believe that it’s a certain skin type that these wipes don’t agree with.
The wipes also have a slightly funny smell which can be slightly off putting to use due to not wanting to put the funny smelling wipes on your new born baby. We have had a look at the 6 best baby wipes in another post if you wanted to compare Mum & You wipes to other popular options.
