Which Nappy Disposal System Brand is the Best?
If you are looking at buying a nappy bin, then you might find yourself overwhelmed by the number of different options available on the market.
We have listed the biggest and best brands of nappy bin in this article, but we have another article showing the best nappy bin product on another guide you can read here.
Which Nappy Disposal System Brand Should you Buy?
We have broken down some pros and cons of each brand to help you make your decision.
Tommee Tippee
Tommee Tippee is probably the most popular brand you’ll come across on your search for a disposable nappy bin and is actually the one that I personally use at home.
The simple design is easy to use which a child-safe lid that opens upwards and closes on its own.
The innovative twist and lock system will allow you to seal in the foul odour from dirty nappies and keep your room feeling fresh before you empty.
How often will I need to change this bin? This bin will hold nappies for around 3-4 weeks for a new-born and around 1-2 weeks for toddlers.
The downside of this unit is that you need to buy specific cartridges for the refills which are more expensive than bin liners.
Angel Care
The Angle Care nappy disposable bin is another bin with a flip lid on top.
This one also includes a child-friendly empty system to keep your little ones mits away from those dirty nappies.
The cartridges for this unit are still slightly pricier than buying bin liners but each cartridge will hold around 120 nappies, so they do last a good 12-14 days.
Ubbi
Ubbi is an American-based company and has been creating baby products since 2011 after one of the owners became a dad.
Their nappy bin was created after the owner couldn’t find one that locked in the smell.
The Ubbi can hold up to 55 nappies which means it’ll need emptying roughly every 5 days so a lot more regularly than some of the others.
It has a child safety lock on the sliding lid and has even won awards for its design.
This unit works without any special cartridges which save money with the cheaper bin liners.
Korbell
The Korbell nappy bin is a slightly different design to the other bins and comes with a foot pedal that lifts the lid and then goes into the bin through a thin sheet of plastic that flicks back up and seals the smell in.
It comes in three different sizes a mini, standard, and plus which means you could choose to upgrade as your child grows and fit more nappies in the bin.
This bin is also available in other colours and can come into a lovely pastel range.
Vital Baby
Vital baby is another brand that has an odour trapping bin and again this one has a different design again.
It’s quite easy to use, you simply pull the handle from one side to the other which opens the center part of the bin, simply drop the nappy into the bin, and put the handle back over.
Any plastic bag is suitable to use with this bin which saves money when it comes to expensive bag refills.
This bin will hold around 25 nappies so it will need emptying more regularly than some of the larger brands.
So, which nappy disposal system brand is the best?
The best nappy disposal system will be down to which one works best for you. If you don’t mind spending a little extra on the cartridges, then we recommend the Tommee Tippee Nappy Bin. If you want to save your pennies, then we really like the Vital Baby as an option.
Like anything, choose whichever you like best, they are all great!
