Overall, the Tommee Tippee 2 in 1 Penguin Night Light is safe to use for babies and toddlers in terms of the design and build quality. It is made from silicone, so it feels soft and squishy when touched. The downside, however, is because it’s rubberised, it picks up dirt from the floor, which you need to consistently clean to keep it hygienic to touch by your child. But this is a minor issue that you can quickly clean with a wet wipe.
It’s very light, tactical and just at the right size for little hands to grip, so your child can carry it herself when needing to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The light also does not heat up even after being used throughout the night.
Fully made from silicone outer material, there are no potential safety hazards, such as exposed wires or protruding parts. Still, you need to put it not too close to your toddler’s bed to avoid any potential accident.
