Graco Baby Delight Swing Review 2023

4.3/5
The Graco Baby Delight Swing stands out for its budget-friendly price, ease of assembly, and essential features, making it a straightforward, valuable choice for parents. Weighing less than 5kg, it offers practicality with its portability and easy storage, and it comes with a removable toy bar and three recline positions. Although it may lack some of the advanced settings and features of pricier models, its simplicity, safety features like the 5-point harness, and two available designs make it a commendable option for a basic, reliable baby swing.

Why you should buy this product?

Review

If you are looking for a reasonably priced baby swing that is available in two different designs and folds away for easy storage, then the Graco Baby Delight might be the one for you.

Weighing less than 5kg, this simple design product is an easy purchase for any home and anyone looking for an easy-to-use baby swing. It comes with a rotating, removable toy bar with two toys, and you can recline it into three layback positions.

There are two swing speeds that could be better but still gets the job done.

It has brilliant safety features, including a 5 point harness which you don’t normally see on other, even more expensive baby swings such as the 4 Moms Mamaroo which only has a 3 point harness.

How to use it

To use it, you simply take it out of the box and unfold it. You’ll need to add your 4 x C sized batteries (awkward, I know!) and to get it to start working and you are ready to go.

If you need to give it a wash, the cover is removable and machine washable and easy to remove and reattach.

What Sets it Apart

I guess the best thing about the Graco Baby Delight is that it’s great value for money. Although it doesn’t have as many swing setting as some of the other options on the market, and it doesn’t vibrate, it’s portable, works off of batteries and has everything required of it for a great baby swing.

Other Products that might be better

We aren’t saying that the Graco Baby Delight is the best baby swing available and there are other options out there if you have the budget or just want something with more features.

Graco actually offer a more advanced baby swing, albeit it is also more expensive. The Graco Duet Sway, sways in multiple directions and can be removed and used without the electric part. It also used 2 x AA batteries which makes it slightly more convenient to use.

If you really wanted to splash out, then the Graco All Ways Soother is a great option and ticks every box for a baby swing, even offering 6 speed settings.

Why we love it

We love the Graco baby delight because it’s cheap and cheerful and get the job done. There’s no complicated set-up process and can literally be used straight out of the box (if you have the batteries!)

We also love that it’s available in two different designs which isnt something you usually see with cheaper baby swings.

Lastly, we love its 5 point harness, something that you also don’t see from cheaper baby swings and that added safety feature just adds to the great features of this swing.

Potential drawbacks

Its potential drawbacks are that it needs awkward sized batteries. It’s bad enough having AA or AAA batteries in the house, let alone having to have the small little circular ones that this swing needs.
